It has been a life-changing experience for me to take part in the Architecture History and Theory module in my first semester of the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Architecture. A full grasp of the evolution of architecture has been made possible by the all-encompassing method of lectures, exams, and tutorial assignments. I developed a stronger understanding of the material by being forced to apply theoretical ideas in real-world situations by the projects and tutorials.
When considering the learning platform, it is clear that the dynamic fusion of in-person classes, MyTIMeS, Facebook, and Telegram has produced an adaptable and stimulating atmosphere. This multifaceted strategy has increased accessibility and promoted insightful conversations. Important roles were played by my tutor, Mr. Azim, and the module coordinator, Dr. Lia. Dr. Lia's organizational abilities made sure that the tutorials were structured, while Mr. Azim's enthusiasm and wise advice enhanced them.

Reviewing the learning platform, a blend of in-person classes, MyTIMeS, and a Facebook group delivered a dynamic and thorough learning experience. Face-to-face sessions allowed direct interaction, MyTIMeS supported independent learning, and the Facebook group served as an informal hub for collaborative discussions. The crucial roles played by my tutor, Ar. Teoh Way Keat, and the Module Coordinator, Ar. Chang Yan Yee, were pivotal in establishing an optimal learning environment. Ar. Teoh's guidance promoted insightful thinking, fostering creativity, while Ar. Chang ensured efficient organization.

Reflecting on my design communication learning journey, I've acquired valuable insights into diverse techniques, such as hatching, sketching, coloring, and drawing. This experience has been both educational and enriching, providing me with a versatile toolkit for effectively expressing architectural ideas. Each learned technique has deepened my grasp of design communication, making this learning process comprehensive and rewarding. Beyond technical proficiency, I've mastered the art of transforming ideas into visual narratives. This journey has endowed me with a varied skill set, establishing a strong foundation for creative and effective communication in the field of architecture.

The learning platform combined traditional face-to-face methods with digital tools like MyTIMeS, Facebook, and Telegram. MyTIMeS served as the official resource hub, while Facebook and Telegram facilitated dynamic discussions among peers. This approach met various learning styles, providing a well-rounded educational experience. Dr. Lia, our tutor and Module Coordinator, played a key role in guiding us and ensuring organized resource management for a seamless semester.
